Sana Kliniken AG has again reported double-digit growth at the end of the 2011 financial year. The group turnover was 1.63 billion Euro and grew by 10 percent compared to the previous year (1.48 billion Euro). The result before tax and interest (EBIT) was increased by 7.4 percent and is now 91.7 million Euro. The equity base of the company has increased to 530 million Euro.
The start to the new business year had been positive for Germany’s fourth-largest hospital group. At the beginning of the year, the hospital operator could record their first acquisition successes with majority shares (74.9 percent) in the district hospitals Cham, Roding, and Bad Kötzting, and the takeover of 94 percent of shares at the Hanse Hospital Wismar.
