The hospital group Sana is working on a takeover bid for Rhön according to information from the „Manager Magazin“. The acquisition plans of Sana chief Michael Philippi have some 30 private health insurance companies in sight. Insurance companies so far make up about 7 percent of the capital and in the meantime are trying to buy Rhön shares outside the stock exchange. A threshold of 20 percent is required for a takeover attempt to be started.
