Six startups with innovative digital ideas recently presented their healthcare solutions for the future at the „Healthcare Industry Cluster Pitch“ on September 22. The focus was on network expansion and exchange with industry experts, in addition to the primary goals of advancing patient care and digitization in the healthcare sector.
The online competition was organized by Business-Angels Frankfurt-RheinMain, StartHub Hessen and Techniker Krankenkasse (TK). Here is a brief presentation of the market-ready solutions of the six startups:
- The startup MentalStark from Frankfurt is mainly active in gynecology as a mental companion, for example, when those affected are looking for psychological support in the case of an unfulfilled desire to have children. The company offers online sessions and individual consultations and has developed various modules that offer specific care solutions, such as an obesity module.
- Tec4med holds solutions for logistics. The Darmstadt-based startup can ship temperature-sensitive preparations such as (corona) vaccines, pharmaceuticals and laboratory samples worldwide and track them online.
- Otto ID Solutions from Darmstadt deals with wireless solutions and digital verification of medical stock and equipment, wherever such verification becomes necessary. Hospitals and ambulances, for example, benefit from the solution and are then subject to digital tracking with monitoring, control and documentation of inventories.
- Lindera from Berlin relies on patient analytics in care to determine fall risk using an app that creates AI-based motion analyses so that preventive intervention can be taken at an early stage.
- Resilience Digital Solutions from Hamburg specializes in a chatbot using digital care pilots that go about their work on sites on the Internet, from pharmacies, medical supply stores, care services and hospitals, in the form of dialogs with users and patients. They provide support with applications for care services and other assistance situations.
- The young company Medihead from Frankfurt provides doctors and other people with health care professions with suitable positions in the German health care system. They establish contact both with physicians and, depending on their qualifications and wishes, suggest new job openings, even if they are not currently looking, and with interested companies that have advertised positions.
