A pharmacist from the NM Vital pharmacy in Nuremberg is the initiator of a web-based telepharmacy application called Apomondo, which has been in existence since April 2020 and enables telepharmacy consultation hours between pharmacy staff on-site and patients. In telephone pharmacy consultation hours, patients seek to talk to specially trained „pharmacists for applied telepharmacy“ and „Tele-PTA“, who can already take part in IHK further training measures. Patients only need to register for a video consultation using a dial-in code, which is assigned on the Apomondo site. The cooperating pharmacy is trained with the help of a user manual and support by Apomondo. Schlenk attaches particular importance to the fact that the pharmacy’s own video portal, which it initiated, helps pharmacists on-site with advice and order, as a messenger service is also integrated into the complete package.
