These three keywords probably best describe the digital rehabilitation facility Caspar Health from Berlin. In the latest financing round, the largest investor, Frog Capital, invested nine million euros in the company.

The growth of Caspar, founded only a few years ago by Maximilian Michels, Benjamin Pochhammer, and Maximilian von Waldenfels, is remarkable because even today, 160 clinics are already using the digital platform to offer their patients close-knit and intensive care with quality and sustainability, for better regeneration at home after a serious illness.

The recovery process is proven to improve through measures of multimodal telerehabilitation and aftercare, Caspar Health. Aftercare is essential and is often neglected due to a lack of time and specialists and the Corona pandemic and its restrictions, especially in the rural catchment area.

Caspar Health had only 62 affiliated hospitals almost two years ago, in October 2019, and has since grown almost threefold. With the growth trajectory and upward trend expected to continue, as well as gaps in care that can be filled with digital rehab therapies, such as an investment from Frog Capital, a UK scale-up investor, is worth looking into.
