Compugroup Medical (CGM) – producer of application software to support activities in medical practices and pharmacies, among others – brings apps on prescription to the practical medical prescription. For this purpose, a so-called app supply center was set up free of charge especially for doctors and integrated into doctor information systems CGM Turbomed and Albis in order not to disturb existing treatment processes. Further connections will follow soon, CGM announced. With just a few clicks, digital health applications, DiGA for short, are printed by doctors on standard prescriptions. A daily comparison and update of all reimbursable apps with the catalog of the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM), however, requires this procedure. Patients should also benefit from the DiGA per app. Therefore, CGM and Noweda decided in October of this year to connect „Clickdoc“ to the local pharmacy platform ihreApotheken.de, ia.de for short, so that patients can order drugs. This includes the redemption of prescriptions in 7,000 connected desired pharmacies; including those with health applications on paper prescription. Once patients have received this classic prescription, the Clickdoc Health Center supports the redemption process right up to the activation code, so that patients can be offered high-quality solutions and verified information on medication and therapy via the Clickdoc app. In the future, DiGA prescriptions will be redeemed completely digitally, the company explains. The Clickdoc app can also coordinate the search for doctors, make online appointment bookings and initiate video consultation hours. According to the manufacturer, it is the perfect, innovative, practical, holistic and future-oriented solution for improved patient care.
