At this year’s cooperation summit of the Federal Association of German Pharmacy Cooperations (BVDAK) on 12 and 13 February in Munich, it was shown that most pharmacists, owners and branch managers, are satisfied to very satisfied with the services of their cooperation partners. Since 84 percent of all pharmacists belong to some kind of cooperation, they were previously asked about their satisfaction with cooperation partners in an online survey by the companies IQVIA and DAP (Deutsches Apotheken Portal). 655 pharmacists answered questions. The COOP study by the authors Julia Weyh from IQVIA and Nina Thiele from DAP leads first results. According to the study, 88 percent name advantages in purchasing, which is why they join cooperations. However, many pharmacists (83 percent) also find it advantageous to implement marketing measures in conjunction with cooperation partners. For 72 percent, the external appearance of the company is also not negligible. Pharmacies also implement the requirements of the cooperation partners to varying degrees. Here the „Linda-Apotheke“ showed a very high rate of implementation, but „mea-meine Apotheke“ and „Pharma Privat Wave“ were also well ahead. However, there are also requests from pharmacists which need to be implemented in the future. One wish is for a uniform, strong and independent platform to promote e-prescription implementation in the digitalisation process. 44 percent are interested in cooperation partners, 19 percent want to wait and see. If cooperation partners are desired, the favourite is the German Pharmacists‘ Association (DAV).  In the ranking of cooperations based on so-called image criteria, the Linda pharmacy took first place in the categories „best marketing support“ and „best private label“. Noweda (pharmaceutical wholesaler as pharmacists‘ cooperative) led the field in the categories „best purchasing“ and „best category management“; Pharma Privat Wave scored with „highest satisfaction“.
