DAK-Gesundheit recently started cooperating with the software developer d.velop to simplify document management and business processes. Customers/insured persons and employees are to benefit from the solutions and products provided by d.velop.

Over five million DAK-Gesundheit policyholders and currently 11,458 employees can benefit from the offerings of the new digitization strategy, which is set to become a core component of the health insurance company’s ecosystem.

Online mailboxes of the SaaS solution d.velop postbox facilitate communication and complete data exchange between insured persons and the statutory health insurance company, which stands for prevention and high-quality healthcare. Employees also receive their pay slips in digitalized form.

For insured persons, intelligent document management means above all user-friendliness, transparency and proximity to insured persons, all of which can be accomplished easily, quickly as well as sustainably thanks to the DAK app. A cross-channel contact history is also available to the insured.

In Saxony, the integration of the so-called DeGIV health terminals, a digital service of DAK Health, is guaranteed. These terminals are located in pharmacies and integrate the insured persons there into the digitalization strategy of the health insurance company, which also relies on audit security.

As a technology partner, d.velop has meanwhile connected 50 other statutory health insurance companies that trust the company. They all derive benefits from digitization and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Systems solutions, also because data security is optimized. Data storage and archiving of information and documents via d.velop postbox is carried out exclusively in German high-security data centers, according to DAK-Gesundheit.
