The telemedicine provider Kry, which originated in Sweden, cooperates with the mail-order pharmacy Apologistics for the delivery of e-prescriptions following telemedicine consultations with doctors. The mail-order pharmacy delivers the ordered medicines and delivers them as quickly as possible to the person ordering the medicines, who can place the order at home.

The Kry video consultation hours, which are upstream, are uncomplicated to book. Connected doctors work at the highest level when the physical presence of the patient is not possible or even necessary. The costs of the video call or video telephony have been covered by German health insurance companies for some time. The Kry app, which is free of charge but required for video consultation, is approved by the Kassenärztliche Bundesvereinigung (KBV).

Kry also meets all security aspects and certifications in telemedical care, which works conveniently from home. After successfully downloading the app, the user only needs to set up a profile. Then the process continues as follows: The patient specifies any symptoms and pre-existing conditions and is then assigned an appointment with a suitable (specialist) physician licensed in this country for his or her video consultation.

Using software from the e-health company Kry, the doctor calls the patient at the agreed time and makes the diagnosis, and prescribes therapy if necessary. If necessary, the patient also receives an electronic prescription (e-prescription) and an electronic certificate of incapacity for work (e-AU) or even a referral to another specialist. The consultation takes place via the app. The statutory health insurance patient then does not have to do anything else, because the billing runs through his statutory health insurance. Private patients pay the bill and can then submit it to their health insurer.
