Smart Reporting, founded in Munich in 2014, intends to take over the Health Data Pioneers start-up, which was co-founded as a spin-off of the Technical University of Munich (TUM), in order to be able to exchange and compare valuable clinical data by standardizing hospitals. The collection of clinical data from a hospital and the subsequent exchange and comparison is important because it enables the creation of cross-hospital registers that can offer efficiency as a basis for clinical studies and research. Health Data Pioneers has critical software to help you achieve the goals of Smart Reporting. The main focus is on strategic and complementary additions to the current business model of Smart Reporting, which began in 2014 with innovative technologies to provide radiologists in particular with a digital and secure so-called „reporting tool“ that will continue to provide physicians with complete digitalization in machine-readable form for reporting and medical documentation in the future. Especially in radiology, pathology and other areas of hospitals, but also in the private practice sector, this is a secure and error-free way to pass on relevant data anonymously and securely. Especially now in Covid-19 research, the relevance of this software from Health Data Pioneers is becoming apparent, in order to clearly structure and pass on the reporting of findings by doctors, in order to learn from this for the future, because automated registers on (severe) courses of a Covid-19 infection can be better analysed and evaluated by the crisis management of a hospital, in order to then be able to share the results with other hospitals in accordance with DSGVO conformity.
