The service group Noventi, a 100 percent pharmacy-owned group of companies, has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) to expand the range of online video consultation hours, especially in times of the Corona pandemic. Since 28 April, patients with corona infections or purely suspected cases have been able to take advantage of remote medical treatment around the clock. By calling 040/46066191, patients can then not only receive online remote treatment, but TK also assures its patients that prescriptions can be issued via the 7,000 online doctors integrated to date. The insured of TK has the possibility to choose between a paper and an e-prescription. Treatment is also possible separately with the help of a „TK-Doc-App“ app from the statutory health insurance company, which then also integrates the online medication prescription and the issuing of a certificate of incapacity to work (AU). If the TK-insured person chooses the e-prescription option, he or she receives a QR code on his or her smartphone, which he or she sends directly to the pharmacy that is integrated into the model. The TK also helps patients to find the pharmacies that have been brought on board and see to it that digital prescriptions can, under certain circumstances, also be brought into the home by a courier service to prevent possible infection with the coronavirus in doctors‘ practices and local pharmacies. The patient does not need to leave the house. The technical implementation of the expected success model of TK is provided by the Zur Rose subsidiary eHealth-Tec, to which the subsidiary DocMorris also belongs. The Techniker Krankenkasse is also planning a large-scale expansion of its novel network structure for post-corona times in order to be able to better care for patients with further telemedicine projects in the future. With the help of the current network expansion between TK, the pharmacy service provider Noventi and the Zur Rose subsidiary eHealth-Tec, further interested pharmacies, mail-order pharmacies and local pharmacies, but also doctors‘ practices and other pharmacy software producers, are to be integrated into the process of telemedical care of the German population.
