Coalition negotiations are already underway in the German Bundestag, because the issue of „health and care“ is also urgent. Initial exploratory talks of the traffic light coalition of SPD, Greens and FDP have already ended with discussions on cornerstones in a result paper that could be target-oriented for the next four years. 22 working groups have already been formed on various topics, including health policy issues including nursing care. The main negotiations are to be completed by December 6, when the chancellor is elected. Seven major areas as overarching themes are ready for negotiations, which are being dealt with by 22 working groups, each consisting of four to six specialist politicians from the federal and state governments.
