Scientists at Lancester University led by Dr. Rachel Rigby have found in studies that natural yogurt if eaten daily, can reduce the risk of breast cancer. Daily consumption, therefore, has a preventive effect just like breastfeeding mothers. The protective effect of the lactose fermenting bacteria in yogurt is similar to that of the microflora in the breasts of nursing mothers. This is also where lactose-fermenting bacteria are found, which provide a protective effect against breast cancer during and after the delivery of breast milk from the milk ducts. For this reason, mothers should also breastfeed for as long as possible. These bacteria are therefore among the harmless and useful helpers in the body, the British research team has found out. However, there are also harmful bacteria in the human body that can cause inflammation and increase the risk of breast cancer. These bacteria produce toxins that cause inflammation in the body, such as bacteria that cause inflammation of the periodontium. In periodontitis, these harmful bacteria spread, which can lead to various types of cancer, including breast cancer, but also cancer of the esophagus, colon, pancreas, and prostate. Researchers in the UK do not yet have clear evidence of the preventive effect of natural yogurt. They are nevertheless certain that bacterial inflammation in the body can increase the risk of breast cancer and that natural yogurt is an easy-to-use daily remedy to reduce the risk, as the meta-analysis of epidemiological studies clearly shows. In addition, natural yogurt is very healthy if consumed daily. Recent studies conclude that yogurt can also reduce the risk of lung cancer.
