As part of the acquisition of Air Products Medical GmbH by Linde AG, legal regulations mean that the company is hence forth known as Linde Medical GmbH. The new name will come into effect on 1st October 2012. The company, however, remains independent with the headquarters in Bochum. Doctors, hospitals and patients will continue to be supported by familiar contacts and networks.
Linde had in early 2012 signed an agreement to buy the Continental European homecare business of Air Products. The value of the transaction, which includes the area of patient-centered oxygen, sleep and infusion therapy, amounted to EUR 590 million.
