The public prosecutor in Erfurt announced that Helios Clinical Center was suspected of submitting false claims.
Colleagues in Berlin alerted the public prosecutor in Tühringen to the possible submission of false claims. Helios Clinical Center is suspected of having hospital patients treated by doctors who did not have adequate approval by the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians.
It is still not known, however, whether this is an actual fraudulent submission of claims or not.
