The investment company Indus has been owner of the bandages, orthotics and compression stockings manufacturer Ofa Bamberg since 2000. This investment is part of the division medical supplies division/life science, further comprising the German company Imeco (nonwovens, disposable products) and the Swiss firm Mikrop (optical products).

For the first half of 2012, sales in the division has declined slightly by 0.9% to EUR 44.4 million. Whilst Indus did not publish breakdowns of the incomes of each of the subsidiaries, it is thought Ofa Bamberg had the largest portion of sales.

Profits of this division before interest and taxes (EBIT) were EUR 7.7 million (up 1.3%) and the EBIT Margin was 17.3%.
