Hamburg health service provider rehaVital GmbH have parted company with their CEO Michael Lüning. The decision was made in accordance with the regulations of the Bundesaufsichtsamt für Finanzdienstleistungen (BaFin), which define specific requirements for those in positions of management.

It became known that Mr Lüning, in position at rehaVital since March this year, was the former managing director of C.Nicolai Sanitätshäuser GmbH back in 2004, which went into insolvency under his leadership. In light of this, BaFin concluded that management of rehaVital by Mr Lüning was no longer viable. The decision was solely due to strict regulatory requirements which rehaVital are subject to.
