The need for medical supplies will intensify in the coming years. This trend is influenced by various effects, such as demographics, development of disease and occurrence of disability. The exact numbers which will be realised in terms of the need of tools on the market, can not be predicted exactly. However, for this reason kon.med has identified the different groups of materials and carrier profiles and provided the accompanying respective growth rates. Thus, an assessment will be made as to which of these profiles will grow most in the coming years. The profiles themselves can be used to draw conclusions as to the tools necessary for that specific purpose.
