Otto Bock Healthcare will be at the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi as an exclusive partner for technical services of athletes.
At the recent XI International Investment Forum in Sochi, the partnership of the company and the Organising Committee „Sotschi2014“ was officially confirmed. The contract was signed by Dmitri Schernijschenko, President of the Organising Committee „Sochi 2014″, and Oliver Jakobi from Otto Bock Moscow.
Under the contract, Otto Bock will provide a team of experienced technicians. This team will take over the maintenance and repair of prostheses, orthoses and wheelchairs for athletes.
At the Paralympic Games in London in 2012, Otto Bock provided 80 experts from 18 countries who carried out maintenance and repair work for the 4,200 athletes.
