The owner of the Ottobock-Gruppe, Professor Hans-Georg Näder, expects the best results in the company’s history in 2012. Reasons for this assessment can be found in the group’s half-year figures, which in the first half of the year show an increase in sales of 15.1%. Thus, the operational capacity before investment (EBITDA) amounted to EUR 60 million. This development is mainly in the BRIC countries. Looking ahead for the second half of 2012, more growth spurts are expected, particularly with the Paralympic Games to come in London.
