The interest group and service company vdek (Verband der Ersatzkassen e.V.), which insures 28 million people in Germany and is made up of six health insurance companies (TK, Barmer, DAK-Gesundheit, KKH, hkk, HEK), will again award the vdek Future Prize 2020 under the motto „Future Workshop Healthcare“. The competition is looking for contributions, innovative ideas, projects, concepts or even food for thought for „sustainable and practical“ health care, especially against the background of an increasingly ageing society. All those interested can apply now until April 19, 2020, either in writing to the Association of Substitute Health Insurance Funds in Berlin, Outpatient Care Department, or online at zukunftspreis@vdek.com. The prize money, which has been awarded since 2010, this time totals 20,000 euros. The winners are those who can contribute with their ideas and projects to an improvement of health care in Germany, whether in the field of prevention and digitalisation in the outpatient care sector, but also scientific contributions to studies on the reform of health care professions, to name but a few, are in great demand. There are no limits to the ideas and fantasies of the applicants in this year’s competition. The best contributions will be selected by a prominent jury.
