The German Foundation for the Chronically Ill (DSCK) has started a telemedicine pilot project for non-invasively ventilated patients in Bavaria, with technical support from the IT company CSC.
The project of DSCK is sponsored by the Bavarian Ministry for Environment and Health (StMUG) and the AOK Bavaria and takes place in cooperation with the Asklepios Hospital Munich-Gauting. The house has 270 beds and is one of the largest hospitals for pulmonary diseases in Germany.
